We took a trip by car to Uman. It is a city of about 100,000 people located about 2 1/2 hours south of Kiev. We visited the Sophiski Park. Just wanted to share with you some of the beauty we saw. The drive down and back was beautiful, too. We saw large masses of farm land without any fence lines. We saw men keeping watch over their cattle as they grazed. We saw acres and acres of yellow canola fields in bloom. We also saw fields of wheat and sugar beets that had been planted. We traveled a road similar to Hwy 319 (Tifton) or US 19 (Camilla). We saw numerous people walking along the road, hitching a ride or waiting for a bus. It was such a refreshing time for us after the long winter. Praise the Lord for His creation here in Ukraine!

That really is beautiful country!!
I am so glad you were able to have some time to enjoy this away from the books. Adam looks like he is really having a great time...you all look so good. We miss you and continue to pray for you.
