Downtown Kiev at Night

Happy New Year! In Ukraine, Orthodox Christmas is celebrated on January 7. This weekend we went into the center of the city. It was very, very cold but lots and lots of people were out on the streets to visit with each other and to see the sights and sounds of Christmas and to celebrate the new year. When you are in the center of the city, Kiev is a beautiful city full of exquisite architecture. Enjoy the pictures and please pray for Ukrainians to hunger and thirst for a Savior who will satisfy the deepest longings of their heart. Tomorrow, we will be helping to distribute Operation Christmas Child boxes to about 200 children. We will hopefully have opportunity to visit with the parents of these children and be a light for Christ.
